Succession
The Roy Siblings
Kendall, Shiv, and Roman — three heirs circling the same throne. Ambition, dysfunction, and the wounds their father left in each of them.
A volatile ensemble driven by pattern abrasion with contested connection — reactive friction runs deep, enabling patterns are pervasive, but genuine compatibility persists.
How to read this report
Every character you build carries psychological depth — wounds, values, defenses, personality, flaws, and more — that create dynamics when they meet another character. This report maps those dynamics across your entire cast, revealing relationship forces you may not have planned. Use it to pressure-test pairings, discover hidden narrative energy, and understand where your characters will naturally pull each other.

Roman Roy
The epicenter — deeply connected to everyone, and the point where all friction concentrates.
30s · Male · Executive Vice President, Waystar Royco
A feral child entombed in a tailored suit — Roman Roy wields cruelty and comedy as twin shields against the annihilating truth that he has spent his entire life performing for a father who will never applaud.
Siobhan "Shiv" Roy
The bedrock — few connections, but the ones that exist are solid.
Early 30s · Female · Political operative turned corporate heir apparent
A woman who fled her family's empire to build a moral identity of her own, only to discover that the throne she once rejected is the only thing that can fill the void her father carved into her — and that reaching for it costs her everything she claimed to be.
Kendall Roy
Generates the most enabling connection across the ensemble.
40 · Male · Heir apparent to Waystar Royco
A crown prince who can diagnose the disease of his dynasty with surgical precision but cannot stop drinking from the same poisoned well — the tragedy of total self-awareness without the capacity for self-liberation.
